well well well let me talk about Atif
a boy who had no interest in music n wanted to be in the national cricket team as a fast bowler
is rocking the world woth his tunes
A guy with a baritone voice with a pitch slightly higher than normal,has got nasal tones but his heavy rock music oveercomes tht
Jalpari was a true paki pop production and it showed with that sting in it
had sung good songs in jalpari like yaqeen aadat
but he changed a soul number lamhe into a dance number????(Atif se seekho gaane ki watt kaise lagata hain) although the song was a gr8 hit across the subcontinent
but that of JAl sung on soul genre soothes ur mind Jal has done justice with Lamhay
Then Atif Aslam swung into bollywood he has nearly sold himself to Vishesh Films
and now his second album Doorie(door hi rahe to accha hai)
has got five tracks and 24534263 remixes although only 11 but wots d fun of all those mixes soul hounse club n bla bla
he has tried too much in the album again i have the same complaint that he has sung a soul number on heavy rock n high notes(somebody tell him that his voice breaks at high notes) i m talking abt HUM KISS GALI JA RAHEIN HAIN
gr8 piece of lyrics by sameer but Atif hasnt done any justice withit!!!!!!!!
Some ppl were comparin Doorie with Masty but these two dont have any match MASTY is far far better than DOORIE Ali Zafar has done a gr8 job n has done justice with his talent.
No doubt the album is topping the charts but it is not becoz it is good but it is coz of Craze for Atif among Indian female folk and his early songs like AADAT n TERE BIN.But Doorie doesnt hav tht edge n sting in it which JalPAri had
I hope he comes with sum good work in the paki album titled Hungaami Halaat.......... |
